Just as the Nereids Nerites as well is described as a youth with a stunning beauty who protects the sea and the life in it. but it should be noted that Nerites does not appear in epic poems written by Greek poets but only survived in sailors' folklore. So many of the stories related to this sea god has been lost in time and even the ones that did survive have being subjected to many variations. I suppose at least some of us, have experience the feeling that something is approaching, when we are alone, especially in the dark. But when we look, there’s nothing to be found, and we feel like our own imagination is playing tricks of fear.
