Archangel Jophiel - The Angel Of Beauty

When considering angels, they are mostly described as males with tall forms. But there happens to be female angels as well, in god’s heavenly court. Angel Jophiel, is one of the few female angels. Her name itself means, “beauty of god”, or, “divine beauty”. So angel Jophiel is very beautiful, both from the appearance as well as from the soul. She is the angel of wisdom, understanding, and judgment. She is even listed as one of the Seven Archangels in “Pseudo-Dionysian” teachings, but not in the book of enoch.

According to the pseudepigraphal Revelation of Moses, another name for archangel Jophiel is Dina. She is described as an angel of the seventh heaven. The Zohar, the sacred text of the mystical branch of Judaism, lists her as a Great Angel Chief in charge of 53 legions. Jophiel is said to be a companion to the angel Metatron. In Anglican and Episcopal traditions, Jophiel is recognized as an archangel. Archangel Zadkiel and Jophiel is believed to help Archangel Michael to battle evil in the spiritual realm. She is often depicted in iconography holding a flaming sword. This mostly represents her work of illuminating people’s souls with beautiful thoughts.

Jewish tradition says that Jophiel was the angel who guarded the Tree of Knowledge and cast Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden when they sinned. She is now believed to guarding the tree of life with her flaming sword.

She helps people learn how to think beautiful thoughts that can help them develop beautiful souls. People sometimes ask for Jophiel’s help to discover more about the beauty of God’s holiness, see themselves as God sees them and recognize how valuable they are.

Jophiel serves as the patron angel of artists and intellectuals because of her work bringing beautiful thoughts to people. She is also considered the patron angel of people hoping to discover more joy and laughter to lighten up their lives.

Jophiel emits a yellow angel energy. Burning a yellow candle, or having the gemstone citrine, may be used as part of prayer to focus on requests to Archangel Jophiel. The angel helps to develop beautiful, novel ideas. Jophiel also may help solve a problem that has been frustrating you. If you suddenly came across a beautiful idea or found an answer for a difficult problem, that may be because you had some help from the angel. You can also think positively with the help of Jophiel.

She is not only beautiful but a worrier who cast out evil. She enjoys helping people and help them to seek the might of god. So she is by definition an angel without a doubt.

Archangel Uriel - The Angel of Wisdom

Archangels are spiritual beings who serve god, by fulfilling certain tasks assigned to them. In most cases, each archangel represent a certain attribute and are welcomed to god’s court. They also have the power above other angels who answer to them. Archangel Uriel is considered as the angel of wisdom. The angel is said to be carrying a flaming sword, that burns with god’s truth. Uriel will slice the darkness cause by lies and illusions with his sword, and light it with god’s truth. The name Uriel means ‘the god is my light’, which I believe perfectly aligns with the role of bringing light of truth, to where there is confusion. In the Second Book of Esdras, it is mentioned how god tasked archangel Uriel to answer many questions prophet Ezra had. Uriel talk to Ezra through a series of visions. When Ezra was in Babylon, he ask god why he keeps Israelites in misery, if god is just. We can see in the way Uriel answer him that there is rage. Uriel begins by telling Ezra t...

Uranus - The Sky God

Uranus, sometimes written Ouranos, meaning "sky" or "heaven", was the primal Greek god personifying the sky and one of the Greek primordial deities. Uranus or Father Sky, was the son and husband of Gaia, the primordial Mother Earth. His symbols were the Wheel and the Stars. Uranus was conceived by Gaia alone, but other sources cite that Aether, the god of the upper sky as his father. Uranus and Gaia were the parents of the first generation of Titans, and the ancestors of most of the Greek gods. Uranus came every night to cover the earth and mate with Gaia. Together, they gave birth to the twelve titans, the three one-hundred-handed giants named the Hekatonkheires, and the one-eyed giants the Cyclopes. Uranus didn’t like the children they give birth to. He considered them threats to his power. His Titan children however, were quite beautiful and they pleased him. But he was so disgusts by the sight of his other children. Legend also...
